The Actual requirement may vary based on further assessment. Further, 2 posts out of 27 are for Persons with Disabilities {One for person with Low Vision(VH) and One for Hearing Impaired (HH) } which may be from any category of candidate selected.


Qualification:
Technical:
Degree in Engineering or Technology in Computer Science/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Mechanical / Metallurgy branches of Engineering from any recognized University/ Institution with minimum 60% of marks, in the aggregate.


Relaxation:
SC/ST/OBC (Non creamy layer) candidates for both Technical and Finance posts should have secured a minimum of 50% marks, in the aggregate. * Average of marks scored for all the Semesters / years OR corresponding marks of CGPA rating /Gradations in their examinations

Age:
As on 01-01-2007 not above 28 years for General Candidates. Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years in respect of SC/ST and 3 years in respect of OBC (non creamy layer) candidates. Candidates belonging to OBC (non creamy layer)category are required to produce Community certificate in proof of their community at the time of Interview (not older than 6 months as on 01-01-2007), stating that they do not come under the Creamy layer, from a Competent Authority, in the prescribed format. In respect of Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) upper age limit is relaxable by 10 years, which will be over and above the relaxation admissible for candidates belongings to SC/ST/OBC (non creamy layer). For candidates who had ordinarily been domiciled in the state of Jammu and Kashmir during the period 01-01-1980 to 31-12-1989, upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years. Relaxation will be extended as per rules in respect of Ex-Servicemen/Commissioned Officers/ECOs/SSCOs who have rendered at least 5 years of Defence service and have been released on completion of assignment.
Application Fee:
Rs.200/- which is non-refundable, is to be sent in the form of crossed Demand Draft drawn on any Nationalized Bank in favour of “Bharat Dynamics Limited” payable at Hyderabad along with Registration slip to “Advertiser, Post Box No.4420, Kalkaji Post Office, New Delhi-110019”. Applicants belonging to SC/ST/Persons with Disability are exempted from payment of application fee.
Selection procedure:
Eligible candidates will have to appear for an Objective Type Competitive Written Test. The venue of the Written Test will be at Hyderabad. The candidates will have the option to have the Question Paper in English or Hindi and the option once exercised at the time of registration shall be final. The candidates short-listed in the Written Test will be called for Interview at Hyderabad.
Health:
Applicants should be of sound health and should meet Medical standards prescribed by the Company. Appointment of selected candidates will be subject to receipt of satisfactory medical report from the Government Assistant Civil Surgeon/Civil Surgeon as per the Medical Standards prescribed by the Company.
How to apply:
Applications should be submitted strictly ONLINE by logging on to BDL Website : http://bdl.ap.nic.in and click on “Recruitments” and subsequently on “RECRUITMENT OF JUNIOR MANAGERS (TECHNICAL & FINANCE)” . Applications will not be accepted through any other mode. The website will open on 15th March 2007 and close on 2nd April 2007 for submission of the application form. The Website will be kept open up to 24:00 hrs on that day for this purpose. Candidates are allowed to apply only once and applications once submitted cannot be altered under any circumstances. Candidates are required to possess a valid e-mail ID, which is to be entered in the Application form, so that intimation regarding downloading of call letter for Written Test/Interview can be sent. BDL will not be responsible for bouncing of any e-mail sent to the candidates. However, necessary information will be hosted on BDL’s Website from time to time. Candidates other than SC/ST and PWD are required to furnish the details of Demand Draft in order to register their application Online. On submission and acceptance of application, the System will generate a Registration Number and the candidates have to print Registration slip.
General and OBC ( Non creamy layer) candidates are required to write his/her Name and the Registration Number allotted, on the reverse side of the Demand Draft OR SC/ST/PWD, on the reverse side of their certificates which is to be forwarded along with Registration slip to “Advertiser, Post Box No.4420, Kalkaji Post Office, New Delhi -110019” by post, so as to reach the Office latest by 9th April 2007. The envelope should be superscribed as applied for the post of Junior Manager (mention the discipline applicable viz., Computer Science / Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical / Metallurgy / Finance) (Grade-I) in BOLD LETTERS.
