Duties and Responsibilities:Receive, track and set up third party partner hardware systems for testing, development and support.Set up and maintain testing environments and assist with maintenance of lab hardware for YES Certification testing.Configure, run, debug and process results of certification testing on partner hardware, including systems (workstations, servers), appliances (point of sale devices), and components (LAN and storage hardware, printers, etc.).Respond proactively/promptly to provide troubleshooting & debugging on the Linux and NetWare OS'es to identify problem source, manage customers' expectations, track progress, & provide resolution. Wil need to test with multiple Novell products, including XEN, OES, SLES, SLED, SLEPOS, etc., as well as Windows and RHEL in virtualized environment.Support Partners' efforts in certifying/re-certifying their technology for the SUSE Linux Enterprise Platform. Clarify certification criteria & testing to partners. Validate certification submissions to correct errors & complete information to create YES Certification bulletins.Possibly assist in and provide certification training to third party partners on Novell's YES program and certification processes.Assist in test kit validation for new kit releases, and on new/updates implementations of Novell products.Build & maintain an effective communication- and knowledge- network for information sharing.

Technical:

One year Orientation Course for Engineering Graduates and Science Post-Graduates for the year 2007-2008 (OCES-2007) conducted at the Training School of Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC), Mumbai and its affiliate Training Schools. Table-1 lists Eligible Disciplines. Admissible Qualifying Degrees are summarized in Table-2. Table-3 lists the eligible disciplines and orientation of the training programme at each of the Training Schools along with the placement information after training. A Trainee who scores a minimum of 50% aggregate marks at the completion of training programme is declared to have passed the course successfully.
